Miami Bachelorette Itinerary
This is your sign to have your bachelorette weekend in Miami.
Originally, when I started planning my bachelorette weekend back in 2019 (lol) I wanted a low-key weekend on the beach in Cabo. Still sounds amazing but after being locked inside for so long, I wanted to dress up, go out and have a weekend on the town with my girlfriends so we called an audible and chose Miami — it did not disappoint.
My MOH and best friend Marissa planned the entire trip along with a spreadsheet of what the proposed total cost of the weekend would be. I have no idea how she had the will power to create this spreadsheet but I know my bridesmaids were so thankful to go into the weekend having an idea of what it would cost them.
I didn’t give Marissa much direction during her planning but here are a few of the things I did say:
— Pary vibes with a mix of chill vibes
— Not a big sit down at every meal
— Just a small amount of bridal & penis decorations
— Only one little moment during the trip where everyone has coordinating outfits or bathing suits
Going into your bachelorette weekend it is super important to remember that all of your friends went out of their way to spend a weekend celebrating YOU. They are spending not only their time but their money as well, so while yes the weekend is about you and what you want, I do think it is important to try and take everyone into consideration as you plan.
I decided that I wanted this trip to be small and intimate so I kept it to just a few of the bridal party. I don’t think it’s necessary to invite every single bridesmaid if you’re choosing to do a weekend that you know might not be the vibe for them. My bach weekend was just 7 of my closest friends and myself making it 8 of us which made the weekend so intimate and special. Some of my best friends that didn’t know each other prior got to spend time together, not to mention it made reservations and traveling as a group SO much easier.
Remember, when you are traveling with a group of people, you have to take into account that everyone has different needs while they are away from home. Create space in your schedule for solo time. In the mornings we would all do our own things, we tried not to have any plans until after 11am (*please note that our Vuori beach workout on the itinerary never happened). I never wanted to be the friend forcing my other grown adult friends to do things they didn’t want to do. Some of my friends like to sleep in late, some needed a meditation, a morning walk or a hardcore workout. Let everyone do their own things so that they can be the best versions of themselves to fully show up for you during the rest of the day!
My last tip for your weekend is simply to go with the flow. Even if you have an itinerary made, it’s okay if plans change! If you have a big night out planned but everyone is in the mood to stay in, drink wine and eat food in their PJs together, let it happen - spontaneity is when some of the best memories are made.
I hope you have an amazing bachelorette weekend! Here’s some of the highlights from mine!
